Secure your Workday surface

The authoritative worker record that makes leaver revocation verifiable rather than assumed. We don’t connect to Workday to collect evidence for its own sake — we connect to secure it, and the compliance artefacts follow from that work.

[01] What This Surface Exposes

Where Workday goes wrong

Workday goes wrong at the handover: a termination recorded late means every downstream system revokes access late too.

  • Integration system users with broad security group membership
  • Termination records entered late, so downstream deprovisioning starts late
  • Security groups granting access to compensation and personal data beyond HR
  • Reports and integrations extracting personal data to destinations nobody tracks
  • Contingent workers managed outside the core worker record entirely

[02] What We Secure

What we watch, catch and fix on Workday

On Workday we measure termination-to-deprovisioning latency across every connected system, because that gap is where insider risk concentrates.

  • Termination-to-deprovisioning latency measured across every connected system, because that gap is where insider risk concentrates
  • Integration system user permissions reviewed against what each integration needs
  • Security group membership audited for access to sensitive personal data
  • Outbound integration inventory treated as data transfer requiring a lawful basis
  • Contingent worker population reconciled, since contractors are the population most often missed

[03] Where It Lands

Where Workday lands in your registers

HR data is what makes access review meaningful: every entitlement across every connected system is reconciled against the people who actually work here, so a leaver with live access is a finding within hours rather than at the next quarterly review. The asset register records the HR platform as a critical dependency holding significant personal data, and the risk register carries both the insider risk and the data protection exposure that comes with it.

[04] How We Engage

On Workday specifically

On Workday, we drive deprovisioning across connected systems the moment a termination lands, and chase the gaps. Security group restructuring and integration permission reduction we project-manage with your HRIS team.

Platform licence

Everything you need to find and fix it yourself, with no ceiling on the depth of the answer.

  • Every connected tool monitored for misconfiguration and drift, with findings mapped to the assets and risks they affect
  • Remediation guidance that tells you what is wrong and exactly how to fix it — however deep or awkward the issue is. We are engineers running a security company, so the answer is the real one, not a link to vendor documentation
  • Assets, access reviews, and risk register populated from the tools themselves rather than from spreadsheets
  • Unlimited integrations and unlimited users, with anything missing built within two weeks

Managed service

Every tool you connect through Konfirmity comes under our care, with our team doing the work.

  • Continuous misconfiguration and drift monitoring across every connected tool, watched by our analysts rather than by a dashboard waiting for you
  • Incident response led by us, with containment coordinated with your team
  • Remediation performed directly wherever you have granted us the authority to act — and where we cannot act, we project-manage the fix to completion rather than handing you a ticket
  • Decision support on the tools themselves: where something is failing you on capability or costing more than it returns, we will tell you, and help you replace it

[05] Workday FAQs

What Workday access does Konfirmity need?

Konfirmity needs an integration system user with read-only access to worker data through the Human Resources web service, limited to the fields access review needs: employment status, dates, role and manager. Compensation and personal detail beyond that are not required and not requested.

Do you read salary or personal data from Workday?

No. We request the minimum field set that makes access review work — who is employed, in what role, from when to when. Compensation, health and demographic data are outside the integration's scope entirely.
