Secure your Linear surface
Public team visibility, API keys with workspace scope, and issue content holding sensitive detail. We don’t connect to Linear to collect evidence for its own sake — we connect to secure it, and the compliance artefacts follow from that work.
Book a Demo[01] What This Surface Exposes
Where Linear goes wrong
Linear goes wrong through workspace-scoped API keys: an integration needing one project gets access to every team.
- Teams set to public visibility across the workspace when their content should be restricted
- API keys with full workspace scope held by integrations that need one project
- Issue content and attachments carrying credentials or customer data
- Guest access retained past its purpose
- Public issue sharing links left active
[02] What We Secure
What we watch, catch and fix on Linear
On Linear we inventory API key scope and ownership, and review team visibility against the sensitivity of what is discussed.
- Team visibility reviewed against content sensitivity
- API key scope and ownership inventoried
- Content scanning for credentials and personal data
- Guest lifecycle reconciled
- Public share link inventory
[03] Where It Lands
Where Linear lands in your registers
Trackers become asset register entries in their own right, because a ticket system holding incident detail, credentials, and customer data is a sensitive system. Access reviews cover project permissions and external collaborators. The risk register draws its remediation status directly from ticket state, so an overdue finding is visible as an overdue risk rather than as a stale spreadsheet row.
[04] How We Engage
On Linear specifically
On Linear, we restrict team visibility, rotate over-scoped keys, and revoke public links. Workspace structure changes we plan with your team.
Platform licence
Everything you need to find and fix it yourself, with no ceiling on the depth of the answer.
- Every connected tool monitored for misconfiguration and drift, with findings mapped to the assets and risks they affect
- Remediation guidance that tells you what is wrong and exactly how to fix it — however deep or awkward the issue is. We are engineers running a security company, so the answer is the real one, not a link to vendor documentation
- Assets, access reviews, and risk register populated from the tools themselves rather than from spreadsheets
- Unlimited integrations and unlimited users, with anything missing built within two weeks
Managed service
Every tool you connect through Konfirmity comes under our care, with our team doing the work.
- Continuous misconfiguration and drift monitoring across every connected tool, watched by our analysts rather than by a dashboard waiting for you
- Incident response led by us, with containment coordinated with your team
- Remediation performed directly wherever you have granted us the authority to act — and where we cannot act, we project-manage the fix to completion rather than handing you a ticket
- Decision support on the tools themselves: where something is failing you on capability or costing more than it returns, we will tell you, and help you replace it
[05] Linear FAQs
What Linear access does Konfirmity need?
Konfirmity needs a read-only API key covering teams, issues and organisation settings. Where you want findings pushed in as issues, we use a separate key scoped to the team that owns remediation.
Do security issues need a private team?
Usually yes. Vulnerability details sitting in a workspace-visible team tell everyone exactly what is currently exploitable and unfixed. We check whether security work is scoped appropriately rather than assuming default visibility is fine.
